This is my story.
My aspiration to live creativity and meet people’s actual needs when it comes to media consumption led me to complete my Diploma in Marketing & Advertising and currently doing Bachelor's (Hons) in Advertising & Design. My aim is always to combine a pragmatic marketing approach with simplified aesthetics, while improving communication between people. Now, I am more than ready to embark upon a career in marketing & advertising.
During my free time, I love exploring nail art. To me, nail art is something that you can adorn them, decorate them, embellish them…the only limit is your imagination. It inspires me to think more, focus on what you are doing and the rest will find its way to make it.

My internship training started in Diploma Year 2 Semester 1, from the 3rd of January 2022 to 31th of March 2022. I had searched for several internship offers on the internet and browsed through several companies from the list that was provided by the lecturer before stumbling upon SearchGuru and securing an internship offer.
Foundry by SearchGuru requires knowledge of creative and critical thinking skills which fits right up my alley. I was excited and looking forward to working at SearchGuru.

Foundry Working Environment
As a social media intern, my responsibility was to research and identify trends and audience behaviours, brainstorm marketing activations that result in action from the audience. Besides, I am also assigned to plan, write and schedule social media calendars, collect data for monthly reporting and reply to consumers on platforms and design content for social media, digital media and other channels. Nonetheless, I will also help out on other miscellaneous ad hoc tasks when needed.
One of the greatest achievements from this internship was being complimented by the client for the work done and gaining a sense of accomplishment helps me to feel that I am progressing in my work. With this accomplishment, I feel more motivated and naturally become more engaged in what I do to improve myself.
I also learnt how valuable time management can be. With different tasks in hand at the same time, I learnt how to plan, prioritise and delegate my tasks. As a social media intern, I have to be aware of meeting deadlines. Hence, I always make a list of everything based on the deadline and the importance of the task. This allows me to be able to focus on what is important and have the extra time to make final edits to ensure that the best version of my work is posted online.

On my free time, I take in appointments for manicures. My passion in nail art led me to work full-time in a nail saloon back in 2020, before I started college. I was a fast learner, hence I picked up the skills relatively fast. I love how I can express my creativeness though nail art and make a client so happy just by having an amazing manicure. However after 4 months, MCO happened. I decided that it was best to go college before working on a full-time job. Now, through word-of-mouth by my friends & family, I am now a freelance manicurist while studying the subjects that I enjoyed a lot -- Marketing & Advertising.
 This was inspired from yam flavoured ice creams. It is usually in purple colour, which represents meanings of wisdom, dignity and devotion to me.
